Sally and Rob | Manjimup Wedding at Dingup House

Oh I love shooting in WA's South is just the most beautiful place for a wedding! Sally and Rob's day was just that; beautiful. Although the rain threatened just before Anna, second shooter extraordinaire, and I were due to go to bride prep, as soon as I got in the car to drive to Dingup House, it eased and backed off completely and we were left with a perfect sunny spring day, albeit with some awesome light sun showers during the family portraits. It looked like snow against the sun :)

The venue for the wedding was Dingup House B&B, a magnificent old heritage-listed homestead built in 1870. It was a photographer's dream venue to shoot around with lovely old furniture collected by Sally's dad and his awesome Cadillacs for the bridal party to be chauffeured around in. A marquee was set up near the homestead with long tables, Dingup house jams as bombonieres and a very yummy looking yellow and white cake.

The ceremony was at Dingup Church, just down the road and it must be the cutest little chapel I've ever seen. We just barely all squeezed in - so adorable! After the ceremony we stopped by a couple of locations for portraits that I had spotted on the way in, and then went back for drinks and canapés at the homestead listening to a fab jazz trio. The food was amazing, organised by Chef Peter who runs Dingup with his wife Lynn. Anna and I were spoilt with entrées and mains and were lucky to escape the clutches of a food coma by manning the Photobooth that Sally's dad lovingly made for her!

And who could forget Lefty, Rob and Sally's dog, who waltzed around the wedding as if it were her own and waited patiently outside the marquee with a ball in case anyone felt the inclination to throw it for her.

Thank you to the wonderful Sally and Rob. The day was just perfect and the location spectacular. I hope you're enjoying your honeymoon in Phuket! xo
