The wonderful Emily and Kyle married on an absolutely stunning autumn day in the Perth Hills. With Em getting ready at Darlington B&B (an amazing property) just around the corner from one of my fave WA wedding venues, Darlington Estate Wines, it was an easy, cruisy day without guests having to travel between ceremony and reception.

The sun shone, with a shaft of light covering just bride and groom during the ceremony at the outside amphitheatre (I did a little jumpy happy dance!). As it started to lower in the sky, we jumped across Great Eastern Highway into John Forrest National Park for one of my fave spots for portraits. The light just got better and better and there may have been little squeals of delight coming from moi ;)

Back to the reception at Darlington Estate for a joyful, hilarious, emotional and moving evening with an absolutely stellar speech by the groom, remembering his late father, expressing his admiration for the strength of his mum, and the love and care he has for his now wife, Emily. It was so lovely to hear such a wonderful groom's speech, so heartfelt.

Thank you Em and Kyle for inviting me to be a part of your special sunshiny autumn wedding day.! Much love xx
