And so it is, the first days of winter in Perth, and I feel the need to start reliving some of the awesome weddings I've had so far this year. I can't believe I have to wait till August for next season to start!! But at least I'm catching up on some editing and albums ;) Productivity is going nuts over here.

Flash back to summer, mid January, for Jaymie and Casey's sun drenched wedding at Brookleigh Estate in the Swan Valley. As a horsey person, I always always love shooting here. Mainly cause I get to stroke silky noses of beautiful equines! But it does help the grounds are magnificent and you really don't need to leave. A very good place to have both the ceremony and reception. Although if you do leave time, Bell's Rapids and the surrounding area is beautiful and just across the way a little.

It was sweltering as I arrived to where Jaymie was getting ready with the girls, but thank heaven for air conditioning! The ceremony was manageable (always recommend 4pm or later in summer) and then the late afternoon and evening were the perfect temperature for a night of frivolity. I was a massive fan of the bridesmaids dresses, very weather appropriate and so elegant.

The highlight of the night for me was Jaymie and her dad hitting the D-floor. These two could seriously move. Obviously genetic. Congrats J and C, you guys are the sweetest together xx

Don't slack off over winter my friends. Plan those weddings, get your dancing pants on, taste test some cake. Bring on my eleventh season (oh. my. god.)!
