We just had the most beautiful weather for Melissa and Mathew's big day. Lovely clouds and sunshine peeking out throughout the ceremony and into our portrait session along St Georges Terrace. Both the ladies and the gents got ready at the Terrace Hotel. I always love photographing at the Terrace: big, light airy rooms with fantastic artwork.

The ceremony was held at Lamonts Bishops House in Perth, an amazing venue in its own right, but one of the best places in the city for having your ceremony and reception in one place. The ceremony was in the courtyard with the ladies from Les Trois Amies playing Mathew's awesome song list. I walked down the stairs to start getting ready for the ceremony and they were playing Placebo. It was like a gift from the gods ;) Smashing Pumpkins and Metallica were a particular instrumental highlight! Fab work girls, loved it and M and M, love the music tastes haha. Lovely ceremony conducted by Nichole Potalo Schmalkuchen.

For the portrait shoot, we took a stroll down to King St via St Georges Terrace. A few sneaky photos utilising the colours and architecture of Tiffany and Co and then a surprise invite to go upstairs to have a champers and mini photo shoot! Melissa's engagement ring was a Tiffanys, so they definitely made this bride feel very special. We were told M and M were only the second couple invited up on their wedding day :)

Back to the reception for some more portraits around the grounds of Lamonts and into the reception for mingling, merriment and well, yummy food. An amazing clear marquee set up by Heart Strings Hire and Style and flowers by Rebecca Barth. The delicious cake was created by Cupid's Delight.

Congrats you two, it was a fantastic, perfect day xo
