The amazing and lovely Chris and Anna had a wonderful wedding day with their family and friends. You can tell how close they all are and how much they are a part of each other’s families already. I loved shooting at the Maylands Church for the first time, it is stunning inside with those massive ceilings.

We drove straight up to the Swan Valley to Bells Rapids and got there just in time for some incredible spring afternoon light. I wish we had longer to explore more, I’m going to have to get up there for some pre-wedding portraits I think so I can find some new spots! I’ve done a fair amount of hiking and running around the area but unfortunately the good spots require a bit too much adventure for a bridal party on their wedding day (and knowing how much I love adventurous couples, that’s saying a lot!).

I also photographed at The Abbey on Chester’s for the first time. The Little Blossom Company styled the florals and decor at the venue with long tables and a really rustic, country feel. With heartfelt speeches and some cracking action on the dance floor, the wedding day was a fabulous celebration of Chris and Anna’s love for each other and their future together.
