While it's usually stinking hot and humid in Perth in February, the beautiful south west of WA has a cooler climate much more beneficial to weddings in summer! Kim and James decided on a ceremony at Erravilla Country Estate in Yallingup Siding and a cocktail reception just a few minutes away at Rivendell Winery. And what a day it was!

Kim's gorgeous Grace Loves Lace gown had been made even more summery with an open back and removal of the lower lining. As you'll see in the below photos this allowed for some very sexy leg silhouettes at sunset! ;)

Something always goes 'wrong' at a wedding and you just hope that it's something tiny. With the bride ready to walk down the aisle, the bus full of guests got lost in the backroads of Yallingup and arrived just a little bit late. That's life though and no big deal. Quite frankly I was happy, as the later the better in summer for a ceremony! It ended up being perfect with the sun twinkling through the forest backdrop while Kim and James exchanged their very personal and lovely vows to each other.

I do think my fave moment of the ceremony was when their friend got up for a reading and spoke gently and lovingly the words to 'I should be so lucky' by Kylie Minogue. Gold.

As we went off for portraits in the golden hour around the gorgeous Erravilla property, the guests were treated to post-ceremony drinks behind the house at the property, and then on to the High Garden for canapés at Rivendell (I love this place! So many cute little spots!).

Then the cocktail wedding reception began at Rivendell by K and J leading the guests into the main garden for lots of scrumptious food and a well stocked bar (lots of Howling Wolves wine - yum!).

Congratulations you two! Hope you had a fab honeymoon!! xoxo
