The amazing and lovely Yasasya and Reg were married on a perfect autumn day in Perth. It was such a pleasure and honour to be a part of their wedding day. Reggie is hilarious, chilled out and has such a look of pride in his eyes when talking about Yas. No wonder why, this woman is amazing. An engineer who also plays trombone in a big band! Super intelligent, kind and has this lovely calm grace about her.

With a later ceremony at Rendezvous in Scarborough (how good is the new set up there with the pool and skate park!), we covered family photos early, went for portraits at UWA Claremont and Hyde Park early with their fabulous squad before the ceremony began. And wow did it begin, bride and groom brought in separately by drummers and dancers in true Sri Lankan style. I love documenting different styles and traditions of weddings, it's so beautiful!

Straight into sunset drinks on the Mentelle Deck for an hour before into an amazing reception in the Grand Ballroom complete with incredible food (not to mention the Sri Lankan sweets table!). The highlight would have to be the performance of the Metro City Big Band, of which Yas is a member. Such a talented bunch and Reggie and Yas performed a perfect first dance in front of these amazing musicians!

To Reggie, Yasasya and your awesome family and friends, thank you so much for entrusting me to capture your day, I had an absolute ball! xxx
